I get a lot of questions about the guitar, amp and other gear I use in my videos. On this page I will show you the gear I use and which settings I use.
Guitar:
Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top
– Bridge humbucker has been replaced for a Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Slash
– Pick-up selector switch has been reversed

Gibson Les Paul Faded
You may have seen a video with this guitar, I borrowed it from a friend of mine so that’s why I don’t use it anymore. Click here for a playlist with all the Gibson Les Paul Faded videos, they’re really interesting!
Amp: Peavey Valveking 112 (all tube amp)
Settings:
Distortion Channel
– Treble: 8
– Middle: 7
– Bass: 4
– Gain: 5
– Reverb: 4
Clean Channel
– Treble: 5
– Middle: 6
– Bass: 4
I use this footswitch to switch between clean, overdriven and lead tone: Peavey Two Button Valveking Windsor Footswitch with 15′ Cable
Multi-effect pedal: Boss ME-70
I use this pedal a lot for the tuner, looper function and wah-wah. At the bottom of this page you’ll find a video with a patch for a nice Slash sound!
You can buy this great pedal here: Boss ME-70 Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal
For more information about my setup, check the video down below!
I also made a video for my Slash patch for the Boss ME-70. Check this video out for that!
hi Damy !
thank you so mutch for your lessons, I’ve learned a lot from your lessons 🙂
but I have question for you, I need a little help…
i got a epiphone les paul AFD slash signatur guitar, and a Boss ME-70 multi effekt.. but when I’m tuning the boss pedal drive sound as you show in your video, I don’t get that same sound
sound’s like it’s to mutch overdrive
and when I want to use the wah wah pedal for making wah, is just a really wierd tone.
got any idea of my problem ?
What amp do you use? I think that the wiring in the AFD is differenct, giving it more gain. Try to use the clean channel on your amp, turn those knobs at about 5 and use less gain on the ME-70. Do You use the wah on your Boss ME-70 or a seperate wah?
